Custom Order Policy Update - Effective November 3, 2025
Oct 29th 2025
We know how important it is for brides to have the opportunity to make their gown uniquely their own, and we’re committed to continuing to offer those special touches that make each dress one of a kind.
We’ve been working closely with our vendors to expand custom options to additional styles and collections that previously did not allow changes. This exciting update will make customizations available on more styles than ever before, helping create more opportunities to meet each bride’s vision — and in turn, support even greater sales potential for our stores.
To make this possible, we are updating our policy to better align with fabric and color availability across all factories. Please note the following changes are effective November 3, 2025:
Policy Updates
- Fabric Changes
- To maintain consistency and quality across productions, fabric change requests—including the addition of sparkle tulle—will no longer be accepted. This change is due to variations in fabric sourcing and vendor capabilities across factories. Fabric Removal will still be available. We also can still order sparkle tulle by the yard so it can be added by an alterations specialist.
- Color Options
- Color changes will continue to be offered; however, they are limited to the color options that are available in that fabric. Availability may vary so please check before confirming any orders.
- Style Renumbering
- Select styles will be renumbered and marked with a “NC” designation to indicate that no custom changes are available for those gowns. Style Changes for Custom Order Policy Change
- Extra Length
- We are currently offering an extra length option for Abella. The extra length option will no longer be available, as all styles (excluding those marked NC) can now be ordered with custom measurements.
We understand these changes will take effect in less than two weeks and want to provide you with time to inform and train your staff about the updates. However, it’s important that these changes align with the launch of our Spring 2026 collections on November 3.
To help with a smooth transition, there will be some flexibility on previous collections, allowing our current policy to remain in effect until December 1, 2025. Note: All Spring 2026 styles must follow the new policy starting November 3rd. The portal will reflect the updated policy on that date. During the grace period, orders must be submitted via email to support.us@allurebridals.com.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: Why are fabric changes being removed?
A: As we expand custom options to additional collections, not all factories have access to the same fabrics. Removing fabric change requests ensures consistency across all collections. For sparkle tulle additions, we can still sell the fabric by the yard for this to be added in store.
Q: Will this limit my ability to offer custom gowns?
A: Not at all — by aligning policies across factories, we’re able to expand customization options to more collections, giving your brides even more choices and flexibility.
Q: How will I know which gowns are “No Custom Changes”?
A: Updated line sheets and collection materials will clearly identify styles marked as “NC” or No Custom Changes.
Q: Are color changes still available?
A: Yes! Color changes remain available within the approved fabrics and color options offered for each collection.
